For the first time since the ban to smoke in public places was approved, the Justice gave a Legal protection that will allow to smoke in the Bingo Caballito, even though the owners of other four similar rooms in the city announced that they will also ask to be exempted from the restrictions.

The measure was ordered by judge Juan Vicente Cataldo, from the Contentious Administrative Court 1, and orders the government to refrain “from doing inspections in the Bingo Caballito” until is informed if the norm was regulated.

The legal protection was presented last week because the owners of the bingo noticed a noticeably fall in the attendance to the hall since the law was approved.

“Since that Sunday, the amount of people in the 5 bingos of the city has fallen a 35% or a 40%. That is why this bingo asked for the legal protection, the other bingos will be doing the same soon.”
