Only one player hit the $23 million Mega Millions jackpot. According to Lottery officials, the ticket was purchased in Genoa, Ohio. The winning numbers were: 2, 14, 20, 29 and 44. The Mega Ball number was 32.

In addition, two players will receive $250,000 each since they matched all five numbers but not the Mega Ball number. Fifteen players had tickets that matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball number and they won third prizes of $10,000 each.

One player in California matched the five lotto numbers and five players matched four of the numbers. Prizes in California are different from prizes in the other states that participate in the Mega Millions Lottery.
